Wallay

Thirteen-year-old Ady no longer pays any heed to his father, who is bringing him up on his own. At his wits' end, Ady's father decides to send him to spend the summer in his Uncle Amadou's household in Burkina Faso, in Africa. Ady sees the trip as a holiday, but in Burkina Faso, boys of 13 are expected to be men.
