De très belles images mais frileux sur le fond

Une belle fresque d'un Soudan traditionnel confronté au vestige de la culture occidental et l'appel de la modernité. Le personnage principal est attachant. Il ne s'agit néanmoins pas d'un grand film: sans prise de position, si ce n'est une indulgence (ou une esquive?) de la question post-coloniale on reste un peu sur sa faim...
