Claude, a music teacher, is a dreamer. His dreams are time machines that transport him to the Belle Époque, to Algeria in 1830, to the eve of the Revolution, or to the pages of the Three Musketeers. The characters of his daily life in the Paris of 1952 take on the costumes of the heroes of his nights. The dreams are at first delightful, then time becomes blurred and disturbing anachronisms disturb them: how to fill up a jeep in the Paris of Louis XIII...
