In Paris, Thomas suffers from an incurable disease that destroys his blood platelets. The disease forces the patient to follow a strict diet. One evening, he goes to see his brother Luc, whom he has lost sight of, to tell him about the seriousness of his symptoms. Pushed to the limit by the progression of the disease, the two men finally give themselves up. For the first time, Thomas seems to take an interest in Luc's private life. Claire, Thomas' girlfriend, gradually distances herself from him. The two brothers end up spending most of their time together and reminisce about their childhood.
