Kanimadi, a young boy in Guinea, dreams of becoming a soccer champion. His breakneck adventures begin when a French doctor gives him a real leather ball. He runs away to the capital, Conakry, where his skills eventually earn him a place on the national team. Kanimadi goes from success to success, and achieves his ambition by being picked to play for a famous French club.
