In particular, we evoke the assassination of Concino Concini, the circumstances that led Louis XV, tired of the Marquise de Pompadour, to build the Parc-aux-Cerfs, the establishment of the first puppet theaters on the Champs-Élysées, the death of the Beloved announced by that of the minister Chauvelin six months earlier - and his night burial, the dark hours of the Revolutionary Terror, the meeting, fortuitous and improbable, between Bonaparte and Napoleon, the latter reproaching him for having betrayed his youthful ideals, the nightly assassination of the inventor of gas lighting, the Parisian beginnings of Richard Wagner, the return of the Emperor's ashes in 1840, the departure of Louis-Philippe for exile, the success of Béranger's songs and the triumph of Métra's waltzes, a ball at the court of Napoleon III...
