At the Luçon, a local café, Bertrand, a young and reserved student, meets his friend, the charismatic Guillaume. At the next table, Suzanne is studying. Guillaume starts a conversation and invites her to a party he is organizing a few days later. By game, he undertakes with success to seduce her. Bertrand, who is an accomplice of their adventure, admires his comrade, while he is annoyed by Suzanne's too free one. On his side, he timidly tries to approach the pretty Sophie.
