Thierry, a real estate agent, goes to great lengths to find an apartment for Nicole and Dan, a couple of difficult clients. At the agency, Charlotte, his co-worker, lends him a tape of a program she loves, a religious variety show, the vision of which will strongly disturb Thierry. Thierry's younger sister, Gaëlle, is secretly looking for love, even going so far as to resort to classified ads. Dan, a career soldier expelled from the army, spends his days in a hotel bar where he confides his misadventures to Lionel, the bartender. To ensure his evening service, Lionel calls on a volunteer home assistant to take care of his father, Arthur, a sick and angry old man. It's Charlotte who shows up. And so, the movement of one character can change the destiny of another without knowing him or even meeting him.
