Opération lune

Director William Karel continues his reflection on the relationship of the United States with the image, cinema and their capacity to produce entertainment. What other story can lend itself to such a viewpoint as that of the conquest of space, a war of image and spectacle before anything else. What if it was only an enormous deception initiated by the two great powers? Between lies and truths, this film mixes real facts with others, totally invented. Playing with irony and lies, its aim is to entertain and raise the problem of the use of archives, to whom one can make say what one wants.
