Lucas, a rich industrialist of 43 years old, single, has just come out of a terrible heartbreak. He meets Elsa, a beautiful 38-year-old ceramist to whom he has commissioned a fresco to decorate the hall of his company. Irresistibly attracted to the young woman, Lucas tries to win her over. But if he is very clever in business, he is not at all sure of himself in love.
