A well-built and rich lady has decided to disguise herself as a knight in order to meet her future husband, whom she wants to explore before marrying. She takes advantage of her male disguise to befriend him and follow him, to find out who he really is. Deceived by the disguise, he opens up to her without any formality. He then tells her that he loved a countess, but that he has decided to prefer a better party who comes to Paris, precisely our damsel disguised as a knight... A knight who will in turn inflame the heart of the countess and those of her two valets...
