Brahim, Suleiman, Manar and Eltayeb have been friends for over 45 years. They left their homeland in the 1960s and 1970s to study film and have spent many years in exile. In 1989, they return and set up the Sudanese Film Group together in the hope of reviving cinema-going in Sudan. In the following countries, the film can only be screened on the premises of Alliances françaises or branches of the Institut français, and the rights-holders must be informed in advance: Bahrain, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Syria, Yemen, Algeria, Libya, Morocco and Tunisia.
