Paris la belle

This film is a tribute to Paris, Ville-Lumière, combining excerpts from Paris-Express made in 1928 with other images shot thirty years later on the same locations. This delicate collage allows us to rediscover an exuberant city, in movement, with a mixture of hurried passers-by, traffic jams and crowds. Two moving, cheeky and poetic voices, those of Arletty and Jacques Prévert, comment on this search for lost time and regained time.
