The unlikely meeting, on a dusty day in June 1791, of illustrious passengers on a stagecoach, including writers Restif de la Bretonne and Tom Paine, and an aging Casanova, on the road where Louis XVI and his family are trying to flee the Revolution. A light-hearted historical fantasy that ends at the Varennes post house, where the royal family is arrested.
