1792, the Fatherland is in danger. A battalion of Volunteers was formed in Marseille. The Marseillais reached Paris, where the sans-culotte prepared the insurrection of August 10, which led to the arrest of Louis XVI. On that day, the Revolution broke all ties with the European monarchies. The first battle was fought at Valmy.
