Ancient Egypt, 18th dynasty. Akhesa, a beautiful 14-year-old princess, is far from imagining that she will one day rule Egypt... When her adventure begins, the impetuous young girl rebels against her father, the pharaoh Akhenaten. She refuses to live confined within the walls of the royal palace and wants to find out why her mother, Queen Nefertiti, has gone into exile on the island of Elephantine. Akhesa flees with the help of Prince Thout, hoping to find her mother. In defiance of danger, the two teenagers travel from the banks of the Nile to the burning dunes of the desert, and bravely confront the mercenary Zannanza and the priests who are plotting to overthrow the pharaoh. With their innocence as their only weapon, Akhesa and Thout will overcome many hardships, and together will know an extraordinary destiny.
