La Comédie de l'innocence
with Isabelle Huppert, Nils Hugon, Charles Berling, Jeanne BalibarCamille, a nine-year-old boy, lives a comfortable life in his parents' bourgeois apartment, and has a small DV camera with which he films what he likes. On his birthday, a simple question amuses his mother, his father and his uncle, gathered around the family table: "And you, Mom, where were you when I was born? The question is brushed aside with a smile, but things turn sour when Camille announces to his mother that he no longer wants to call her mom but by her first name, Ariane. A little later, he offers to introduce her to his real mother. This one, he says, lives in Paris, he knows the address, and wants to take Ariane there. The latter is taken in by the game, follows her son and penetrates in the apartment of this stranger. On the wall, there are photos of a little boy, the owner's son, who died a few years earlier.
