La Belle lives with her father and two sisters in a bourgeois environment that tends to die out. Coveted by Avenan, the young woman lives only to serve her father, a maritime merchant. One night, he wanders into the forest and discovers a strange castle. Taken prisoner by its owner, the terrible Beast, the father is offered to exchange his captivity with one of his daughters. Beauty is devoted and decides to surrender to the Beast. Her innocent love will deliver the beautiful and moving Beast from his curse, and return him to his identity as Prince Charming.
