This intimate and refreshing documentary follows three young rugby players as they navigate not only the physical demands of their sport but also the unspoken rules of gender identity and social expectation. Through candid locker-room conversations, muddy training sessions, and tender moments of self-expression, the film captures the delicate balance these girls strike between strength and softness, resilience and vulnerability. What makes the work particularly powerful is its refusal to rely on heavy-handed commentary or abstract theories. Instead, it allows the teenagers themselves to speak and reveal — through gestures, laughter, insecurities, and playful defiance — how femininity can coexist with toughness, and how traditional labels often fail to capture the complexity of being a girl today.
