Yves Beaulieu lives with his wife Anne, his daughter Stephanie and his mother-in-law. Tired of his dangerous job as a deminer, thankless, underpaid and unrecognized, Yves decides to try everything and carries out a hold-up in the nearby supermarket. Tracked down by Inspector Rousselet, he is subjected to a mysterious blackmail and tries to escape justice to profit from the fruits of his crime.
