In this film where images, colours, music and words collide, Béatrice Soulé offers Leopold Sedar Senghor what he promised Senegal: It's time we gave you back your youthful face. Like a long poem punctuated by the sound evocations of Leopold Sedar Senghor's work, the poet's voice recreates the highlights of his life on archival images, intertwining his texts and words read with grace, naturalness and vitality by the young Senegalese rapper, Amadou Barry and his group Positive Black Soul.
