The anxieties and aspirations of men and women in the face of a society that crushes them. This film is organised as a musical score composed of four movements: - The Imaginary: After a breakup with Paul, Denise goes to the country. - Fear: Paul fears loneliness. - The business: Isabelle teaches her sister the trade of prostitution. - The music: After an accident, Paul dies and Denise doesn't see him.
