Josef Nadj, dernier paysage
In this first film, Josef Nadj lifts the veil on the creative process and makes a kind of self-portrait of the landscape that takes him to the sources of his inspiration, a few kilometres from his hometown of Kanizsa, a Hungarian enclave in the former Yugoslavia. The film brings together excerpts from his piece Last Landscape, in complicity with the percussionist Valdimir Tarasov, and what inspired them, in an incessant back and forth between the stage and the landscape, between the closed space of the stage and the boundless land, between fixity and movement.
