Pasteur
with Jean Perier, Sacha Guitry, Henry Bonvallet35 mmFrench2 subtitles languages
Pasteur had a passion: scientific research. He was against the tide of his time, his ideas on the existence of an infinitely small world against which we can fight with asepsis clashed with conformism and prejudice. Loneliness is thus his daily lot. But his faith in science leads him to a relentless fight. Guitry shot Pasteur as a tribute to his father, who played the eponymous play Pasteur with success at the Théâtre du Vaudeville in 1919. It is a "great film in the history of French cinema.
