A man returns to spend a few days of vacation in his native land, "La Pointe Courte", a fishermen's district of Sète. He is joined by his girlfriend, but the couple disintegrates. As he wanders, introspects, faces his uncertainties and the daily events of village life, at once harsh, tragic and festive, the couple will regenerate.
