Pauline, a young polytechnician attached to the Ministry of the Economy, takes care of her sisters and grandmother, in the absence of her father, Victor, an adventurer. The latter, in his superb fifties, reappears, as seductive as ever. He wants to liquidate the family estate in order to build a casino on the shores of Lake Geneva. Pauline is opposed to this project. The father and daughter shout, argue and eventually get to know each other.
