Ravaged by alcohol and despair, Alain Leroy has just undergone detoxification. Overwhelmed by an irresistible disgust for life, he breaks one by one the last ties that hold him to life. He abandons the pretty Lydia who wants to save him, he resists his doctor who tries to reconcile him with his wife, he meets an old friend, gentrified and unbearable. Thanks to Jeanne, he finds other old accomplices, but they have fallen into drugs. During one evening, meeting Solange will be the last chance he lets go. Whatever happens, Alain Leroy has decided to commit suicide on July 23rd.
