À propos de Nice
35 mm0 subtitles languages
Jean Vigo's first film, About Nice was shot in the winter of 1929-30. In a satirical mode, between live images and fictional scenes close to surrealism, the film plays on the contrast between wealth and misery. "Above all, I wanted to provoke nausea. At least in the cinema we can't bear the sight of what we watch with indifference ... in life-size" (Jean Vigo).
