In a luxurious villa on the French Riviera, Jean-Paul and Marianne live and love each other. Their happiness is quickly disturbed when Harry arrives with his daughter Penelope. The two men mask their rivalry under the guise of camaraderie. Harry has contempt for Jean-Paul whose success is less than his own. Jean-Paul is jealous of Harry for his fortune and because he was Marianne's lover. A dangerous game begins. Harry courts Marianne again, Jean-Paul wants to seduce Penelope. Game which brings Jean-Paul to drown Harry in the swimming pool. Marianne knows everything, but keeps silent. Penelope will leave. And the two lovers will remain riveted to each other by the memory of the crime.
